I launched STC in 2001 and have over 30 years experience in the industry having started my career with Avery straight from university. I love the client relationship side of the role and like to think that the success of STC has been down to an excellent team delivering solid client service at a reasonable cost.
In my spare time I try to keep fit by running and cycling. I have run the London marathon and go surfing in Newquay every year. I took up drumming over 10 years ago and now regularly perform with my band, Grace Brothers.
I am a founder member of STC and have been in the industry for about 30 years. As Account Manager I enjoy using my experience to help match client needs to their exact equipment and then maintaining a good relationship over many years.
In my spare time I play golf badly, (some would say), and am a full time taxi driver for my teenage daughter!
As the third founding member of STC and with 30 years in the weighing/CCTV industry, my role as Service Manager is to keep all my wonderful engineers busy and under control!

I have been with STC since day 1 and have been involved in setting up and running the administration side of the business. I took time out last year to have my first child, and have recently returned part time to look after the accounts side of the business.
As a full time mother my spare time is filled with baby things and walking the dog! Having said that, I am now starting to play netball again and try to get to the gym to let off some steam!
I joined STC as an apprentice engineer in 2010 and am enjoying learning the trade with an experienced team. My main roles are setting up new equipment, responding to customer phone enquiries and general repairs….along with making the occasional cup of tea!
I like to think I am energetic – enjoying the odd game of football and taking any opportunity to try and improve my jumping stilt skills, (I am almost at back-flip standard).
As one of the longest serving staff members I have gained a lot of experience of weighing equipment, CCTV and access control. Mainly based from home I cover all of Essex, Kent and London.
I am currently involved as a Cub Leader in Thaxted and enjoy spending time with my family and pets.
I have worked part time with STC since it was launched and deal mainly with Accounts.
I am married to Clark, the MD; we have just celebrated our 30 year Anniversary with a trip to Singapore and Bali. I also enjoy going to the gym, power plate and pilates. Before joining STC, I spent many years as an English teacher and have enjoyed teaching GCSE at a local secondary school.
I’ve been with STC since the very early days and before that my first job from school (20 years ago), was with Clark. I’m an engineer specialising in weighing equipment, CCTV and Access Control.
In my spare time you will find me on a bank attempting to catch fish in all weathers. I also enjoy flying remote control helicopters and a bit of kiting.
I have worked part time with STC for the past 12 years and my responsibilities include looking after the administration of the service side of the business, and helping manage the company finances.
I get the occasional bit of spare time in between running around after mine and Peter's 2 teenage children, and have completed an OU degree in English Language & Literature, and recently become a registered bookkeeper.
I joined the team in 2016, with 3 years experience in the weighing industry under my belt. I believe my experience has furthered the teams knowledge in the field.
