STC are pleased to announce the receipt of a grant from the New Anglia Small Grant Scheme, which is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund
This grant is gratefully received and together with funds from the Bounce Back Loan we have
1) Updated our IT infrastructure giving us the following benefits
. Work from home more effectively when necessary
. Reduce the risk of cyber attacks using cloud based e-mails
. Improve overall administration efficiency with additional workstations and printers
2) Update our Goldmine Customer Record Management System giving us the following benefits
. More efficient production of calibration certificates – over 4000 per year
. More flexibility with the production of quotations and other paperwork
3) Updating the engineers workshop which will
. Create a designated workspace for our new apprentice
. Assist with social distancing
. Create a more modern, efficient workshop space.

Waveney Foodbank were so impressed with the service received from STC when they needed a set of scales for their distribution work that they recommended us on to both Selby and Slough Foodbanks who then bought further scales from us.

In the middle of the Suffolk monsoon season we held our annual STC Golf Day. Our staff and a number of our clients enjoyed their bacon butties while watching the usual early morning downpour and then the clouds parted and we were blessed with dry weather for the golf.
