Ian Myland

I am a founder member of STC and have been in the industry for about 30 years. As Account Manager I enjoy using my experience to help match client needs to their exact equipment and then maintaining a good relationship over many years.

In my spare time I play golf (badly, apparently).

Peter Ord

As the third founding member of STC, and with over 30 years experience in the weighing/CCTV industry, my role as Service Director includes keeping all the engineers busy and under control, parts ordering, planning, Health and Safety and workload organisation.

Outside of work I enjoy golf, motor sports, travel, and cycling as well as doing exactly what my wife, Helen, tells me to do.

Jo Hopking

I have been part of the brilliant admin team at STC for over 20 years carrying out a variety of admin duties.

On the days that I’m not in the office, I enjoy walking the dog, playing the occasional game of netball and standing on the sidelines of an Under 12’s football match.

Gary Foord

With over 30 years working in the weighing industry I have a vast knowledge of both retail and industrial equipment, and enjoy installing and servicing CCTV Systems.

I have 2 dogs and a family so am always busy, either keeping my son Harry amused or enjoying a social pint or two, or even playing a few sports!

Scott Mitchell

I’ve been with STC since the early days as a service engineer.

I’ve recently moved out to the country and am enjoying family life there. I am out walking most weekends, either along the coast or over the heathlands which are fantastic.

Helen Ord

I have worked part time for STC since 2006, and my responsibilities include looking after the administration of the service side of the business, and helping manage the company finances.

I am also a registered bookkeeper and in what spare time I have I enjoy reading, cycling and swimming, and of course spending time with Peter and our grown-up children.

Fiona Myland

I have worked part time with STC since it was launched and provide administration support.

Outside of work I am a trained sports therapist and enjoy keeping fit.

George Woodruffe

I joined in 2016 as an apprentice having recently finished college with a qualification in engineering.

In my spare time I enjoy tinkering with my bike and any other objects that I can find!
